It is not easy to match Sezen Aksu's (the queen of Turkish music) vocals. Unlike the other covers of this song on Youtube, I did my best to stay as faithful to the original because I believe the best way to convey the true feeling of the song is with the more traditional instruments, such as Bendir and Oud. It took 4 days to complete the instrumental, 2 days for the violin recording and 1 day for the video making process, making it a full week's worth of work. As some of you know, I am a freelance translator, that's how I am able to find the time to make music, even though there's no real money in it. I am getting a lot of messages and comments asking me to make videos more often. I want it too, definitely. I wish I could make a new video every week but as you can see it takes a lot of time.
